Weekly Photo Challenge: Solitary

This week’s theme makes me wish I didn’t use the picture I did for speakcheats’ foreign word of the day – Everyday Life.
Oh well, guess I just have to take more pictures then.

Speakcheats Weekly Challenge - Solitary

We all walk our own paths in life.

These translations are proving to be challenging as most languages combine it with alone.  The difference between the two in my experience is that alone represents being cut off from all connections, personal or otherwise while solitary means just separating oneself from other people.
